Xenia shrinking/dying after powerhead added?

Hi,
My Xenia was doing well until yesterday. I added a power head and skimmer to the system so the flow went from low to mid-high. All other corals are doing fine except the Xenia has shrunk in size, lost some pulps, and even the color seems went from gold/brown to purpleish. here are some before and after pics. The Tank parameters are. Is it doomed? Should I get it out of the tank before it harms the tank?

Nitrite: 0
pH: 8.5
Alk: 120
Hardness: 240
Ammonia: 0
Themp: 81

Did you point the new flow directly on the xenia? It may be getting too much.

At first, I did but I moved the powerhead after noticing the Xenia was getting too much flow. I'd say it's probably under mid flow now. could flow do that much damage to the Xenia? I thought they were suppose to be like weeds? LoL! It was the last of my worries but now it's my only worry.

LOL...I wouldn't call it damage.....they will close up when things change....kinda like Kenya tree and Colt corals do too.....it will adjust...

UPDATE:
The Xenia came back to life today and looking great!

That thing is AMAZING... coming back to life after looking like certain death! LoL!

YIKES....Xenia is one of those UP and DOWN kinda things
I have not been able to grow it in my 225G

and I have a nice little group in the 54G.....I have not yet tried in the 29G
