Here are my parameters
PH 8.4
ALK 2.5
Trate 5.0
Trite 0.1
Ammonia .25
this doesn't look good at all, going to do water change now. Is there anything else that need to do?

an established tank shouldnt hv ammonia. xenia will sometimes drop heads to reproduce.
What's HV Ammonia?
how long has it been set up? your tank could still be cycling, you could be overfeeding, or you could have had a snail die. theres decay of some kind, thats where your ammonia's coming from.
what size tank?

Why are my Xenia tips fallen off? is there something wrong with them?
I have the same problem kind of. Some of the little stems polyps are gone and the end of the stem is white with no polyp. So does this mean my xenia is reproducing. If so, I don't see any polyps floating around in my tank.
