Hey,
I bought a pumping xenia today, and i placed it near the high water current area, and all the pumping polyps are pumping half way, and they are all bunched up together.
Is the water flow to high, should i place it a bit farther away?
Thanks,
Adam

in my experience, i have some pom pom xenia and in the 55 it was in an area of the tank where half of it was getting high current and the other half wasn't getting much current. the half with not as much current slowly died off and the other half is thriving. we recently switched over to a new tank and put the xenia under high current and it is still doing good. hth

What Bang said....plus, mine seem longer in low current and shorter in high current. They should be ok, as long as it is not turbulent current. I have xenia in lower and higher current....both seem to be doing well. In fact, the xenia I have in higher current is starting to grow on the back glass of my tank.
