Xenia?

Hey I bought this xenia yesterday and it didnt look like the xenia ive seen the xenia ive seen looks like a big tree will this one eventually do it

I think it is still a Xenia, just not the red sea variety.

Anthelia was the first thing that came to my mind, but I am not all that sure.

yeah i have some clove polyps and some xenia and it looks like polyps to me. xenia is longer and more "wavy"

when I look inbetween your bubble and your hammer I see a stalk. the coral in question has no stalk just polyps

i know im torn. mine kinda looks like that when they are still (the pumps are off for feeding or something) but when the pumps are on, they kinda look like palm trees

Thats not a xenia cause it has a tube at the stalk. Those are clove polyps.
