where should the xenia be in the tank - on the rock or at the botton do do well?
I believe we have a fiji xenia

Toward the top of the tank in medium flow. What lighting do you have??

Xenia are some what mobile as far as corals are concerned. They will tend to move where they want.

Mine sure move. I had them on the sand next to the glass and they moved to they surface where they have been for several months now. And that was a fairly rapid movement.

In my experiance, they move "up hill" and with the flow of water.
I placed mine in the top half of the tank. Med Flow

They will in fact "move". They tend to try and reach the highest point IME. Mine climb up the back glass of the tank all the time...
