As long as the xenia doesn't look like it's melting it is fine. Xenia will go through periods where it doesn't pulse, or yours might not pulse at all, plus you haven't had it long so it isn't settled in yet. Also you shouldn't dose iodine unless you can test for it and it isn't easy to test for it either.

I agree. Xenia does not always pulse.
