should it be pulsing ALL the time, or is it fine if it stops sometimes.... and how fast is there growth (i no fast, but can i have an actual amount plez)

xenia will or wont pulse at times. as for growth, its hard to gv an answer since everyone's tank is different. for me and some people, xenia grows very fast. so fast, it basically doubles every 3-5 days. i trade in my xenia to a lfs, and still hv enough to throw away. for some people though, keeping xenia prove very difficult.

i have some that never pulse except maybe like twice and i have had them for 2 years and they also dont grow just really slow .

I believe there are different kinds of xenia...some pulse and some don't. I am no expert...my xenia always pulsed
