It's time to let him go. I've had this fish for almost 5 years and he's outgrown my tank. Unfortunately, space and money says I can't have a bigger tank right now, so "Finno" needs a new home.
He's between 7-8" in length. I'm guessing closer to the 8" mark but I can't get him to hold still long enough to get an accurate measurement. He's AT LEAST 7".
He's friendly, LOVES people and loves to show off. If you're standing there, he's at the front of the tank, fins extended and swims back and forth. Hold a piece of algae, spinach or some other leafy food in the tank and he'll eat right out of your hand. I've never seen a fish with so much personality before.
He's docile and shares his tank with a foxface rabbitfish, a blue tang, pajama cardinal and a tomato clown. There are no issues between them. They all get along just fine. He is the biggest fish in the tank though, but not by much. I can't say how he'd do with other species, so you'll have to do your research there.
From what I'm seeing, these guys are rare and hard to find, so this would be a prized acquisition to anyone's display. HE NEEDS ROOM! You MUST have AT LEAST 150 gallon tank to accommodate him. The longer, the better.
I'm taking the best offer over $150 for him. I'd prefer a local sale, but with the help of my LFS, I'm willing to ship him if necessary. PM me if you're interested.
This is him, just 2 weeks ago. See what I mean about the fins?
