I currently use the XM 20,000K metal Halide bulb and see the CoralVue is being used alot and catching popularity. Is it better than the XM bulb? Is there info somewhere I can find to compare the two bulbs? Which do you have or prefer if you have one or both?

Sanjays' light study might be helpfull......I think it comes down to personal preference on the bulbs....both are 20k so as you already know won't get alot of growth.....just nice coloration

I'm kinda partial as well to XM, but 10k fan.......20k's to blue for me, but starting to look for a little more blue in a bulb than the 10k is giving....

Hi Guys!
I have seen a lot of threads on -- raving about the pheonix 14k bulbs but have not actually used them?
I have 3-250 10k's and 8 actinic t5's on my 210, it is a little white but i can tell you i love the coral growth.
My 1st shroom rock that i picked up about 1 month ago...the shrooms have ~ doubled in size!
I just got a orange plate coral and am curios to see how that grows?

I have the 14k that came with my sunpod and IMO has a perfect amount of blue. not too little, but not too much. :)
