xm bulbs

i've seen these,XM 175watt 15,000K Metal Halide Bulb, what is the xm part about....thanks for the help

the 15K's are not their best bulb...I used their 10k for about 6 months and just switched over to their 20K..

XM is just a brand, like USHIO or IWAKI

IMO, yes they are a very good brand. I have 2 250w 10k's and they each put out 530 PAR. Only Iwasaki put out more par. Very good value, I love em personally.

I have used the Ushio 250 watts and the XM 250 watt, both the 10,000k. There isn't alot of difference in the color, but with my ballast the XM bulbs give me better PAR.

According to sanjays lighting test they the 15000k xm bulbs are really lacking in par.. This site should be helpful ***link deleted***
