He is doing great i didn't quarintine him he is much bigger then any other fish my only hope was they did get aggressive toward him so that is why I bought him because he is like 6-7 in and i figured my yellow tang would leave him alone which he pretty much has and he is eatting great.

my tank is only a 90 but will be upgrading at some point in the near future...do you think this is bad he is in a tank so small? He is about 4 1/2 inches in size. He has not really eaten yet but does not really look stressed. ....

Is your tank stocked with corals ,rock, etc and is there alot of swimming room they need room to swim around. If your tanks has room I would say he should be ok till you ungrade which I hope is not to far away.Have you tried frozen brine mine loves them he goes nuts...If not i would try garllic soke with the food

I have several corals now but most of them are small still except for my colt coral and such...I am going to send you a pic of my tank and see what you think. I wish I would have set my rock up closer to the back and bottom more. Most of my rock work allows for space to swim from front to back with most of my rocks being more central setup. Room for swim is more front and back and that dip in the middle.....what do you think? Yes, I have tried the garlic soaked stuff but will be doing brine shrimp today for all the fish and hope she grabs on to some. I have some seaweed in the clip now but so far nothing.....

I think your ok for now you have some room for him to swim I would just start working on the upgrade asap My book says they grow up to 18 inches which that may be in the wild I dont think so in aquaruims. Mine loves flake & brine he has not touched the clip with sea weed either I dont think he knows what it is yet.P>S Nice tank you on you way..... :jumping:

Got another quick question.....how do you get your naso to eat without all the other fishies pigging out and stealing it before he has time to get to it? I also don't want to put too much stuff in the tank and worry about polluting it. I did the clip today twice with green algae sheets and he is eating!! he is also picking the red algae off of my rotating power head in the tank. Very cool...but I have not tried to feed anymore. I feel like I am putting too much in...the others were fed but they are used to being very forceful and quick to get the food, but my tang is layed back!

He is pretty fast feeder and the other fish appear to be alittle afraid and he gets his share.I would watch how much you feed 2 clips is alot for a day i only do 2 to 3 clips a week. I normally feed every other day but have been feeding daily since i got him for he is bigger an just want to watch him for a week or so.I will go back to every other day for feeding daily get the nitrates up to much.

thanks for the input. I had the clip only with like small sections of one sheet, did not put full sheets in at least. He seems to love it though so I am so glad. I have fed my other fish their norm..tomorrow will try and give all some brine shrimp. I usually feed small quantity daily....once a day......I was doing the clip quite a bit just to entice him. Do you do a full sheet 3 days a week?
