Yardright Play Sand If anyone Needs It...

rgaskins: Still no luck with getting more sand? I drove to SC over the last couple of weeks and had no luck at any of the HD's from Alabama to Myrtle Beach. Someone online said that a Southern States had it in Carboro NC but when I called to see they first said they had 100 bags then the secound time I called to cofirm a week later the guy said it was Old Castle but was not the oolitic sand but was silica and that someone from SC had come to buy some and done the vinigar test and it was not calcium based. I was hopeing I could find some while I was east of the Mississippi but no luck.

I think I need about 4 bags. If I would have found some on my trip I would have gotten 10 just to have it for future needs. At this stage of the game I'd be happy with whatever I could get.
