Hey Nick... I understand what you are saying about this being an addiction. So my advice to you, go out, get back into the world, get through the withdrawal period and come back a better man.
Seriously, though, I think most people here have had to take a hiatus after a while... this site is actually more addicting than the actual keeping of saltwater fish. Sorry to see you go... but you'll be back.
But I do enjoy your participation here (except a particular political thread once). Come back soon.

BTW, if you ever need anything, just PM me.
yeah, I've caught myself ignoring my tank to play here. The wife is one thing but the tank. That is where I draw the line.

Thanks guys! I don't plan on NEVER returning, but I just think I should focus more time on getting a job instead of spending hours on SWF each day. Having a family is really what makes me feel like this needs to happen. I've got my resume out there, but that doesn't change that I should be proactive and make contact with people instead of waiting for them to contact me. I'll be back for sure... I just don't know when. It's time to play Life (not the game).
I won $200 over a game of life before.. true story.. won my 144 half circle over a game of uno... I guess thats what happens when I hang out with a bunch of gamblers..

it only took this place 4 months to ruin your life? That might be a new record. Good luck with the job hunting

Good luck. From your posts you appear to be a man of peace. I hope that prosperity comes to you soon in the form of a job and you make your way back to 'the aquarium'.

nwdyr, I will miss you as well, you're a good man. You have a wealth of knowledge and I think we agree about a lot of things... except for maybe crushed coral and bio balls. But hey, let's not sweat the small stuff. In your defense, my live sand and rock are blooming algae like it's their job and I'm not sure why... maybe I need to throw in a wet/dry
