Yellow Belly Tank

OK here are the pics, but like I said before he looks very much like the regular tang. As he matures his belly will turn yellow and his top fins develop a red color! Apparently they come from Africa and they are quite rare! We saw a pic at our LFS and they are amazing!!!

i hate to burst ur bubble but it looks like an ordinary blue hippo tang if you ask me. but that's JMO

I will post a pic in a few months and you will se what I'm talking about! We can see the yellow in his belly now, but hard to capture in a pic! :jumping:

Yeah, i thought yellow belly hippos had yellow bellies as juviniles too. How much did u pay? Just because he showed u a pic of one doesnt mean that is one. He might have tricked ya. In fact I think he did...

In the LFS they had normal Hippo Tangs and the Yellow Bellies. You could really see the difference, side by side. He difinitely is a Yellow Belly. We paid $89.95 Canadian!

Oh...cool! What is the temperature like there right now? Its in the low 40s here and gets into the low 30s at night. Oh wait, you use celsius...sorry...

Today was 7 celius, the coolest day yet this fall! Tomorrow going back up to about 15. 7 celius is about 50 F I think!
