Yellow clown goby changes color

I have a Yellow clown goby that has been in the tank for about three weeks. It seems like he goes through several color changes in a day. Nice and yellow one minute and then seems to go pale and then the color returns. Is this normal? Anyone ever experience this before?

take a pic or two of different stages, mine is very pale cuz its unhealthy (nursin it back)

Duh--good idea. I'll try taking some pics tomorrow when I'm at home and post them.

mine does that at night. Some SW fish have night or even fright colors.

i have two clown gobys for about 12 months now and the only time when they get a little bet less yellow is at night when they try to camo better in the rockwork..
if this happens during the day my first guess is that when the goby turns to a light color he is stressed out by someone near him or bothering him,
my second guess as stated ias that he is just sick..
