It eats mostly meaty foods such as: brine/ mysis shrimp, chopped squid, krill, scallops, and algae products (or so I've read).

do a search for my name, I made a posting on how to make your own food, this is what I feed my boxfish. These fish like to graze all day hence the name cow.

My cowfish also loved boiled spinach and would nibble it all day. Gives it some variety instead of just frozen meaty food.
