Yellow Damsel

I have just recently purchased a yellow damsel for my 29 gal. fish-only tank at my LFS. I have just learned from a friend who is also a SW aquarium owner that the damsel, as it matures, turns a pale grey. Is this true?

yes, over time they will turn a greyish color.
