yellow headed jawfish

I have this great little y-h jawfish. He made a nice little house in the substrate next to a piece of LR. Well, the tank was being cleaned, and bullet goby decided that should be his house now. Long story short, little bity jawfish is nowhere to be seen. I have heard that you can lure jf into making a house where you can see them, but not sure if anyone had ever tried/succeded in this. If so, I would love input. Thanks so much in advance

jawfish are great jumpers, hope this didnt happen but you might want to check outside the tank.:nervous:

i wana get on for my tank. whatcould i use to cover it instead of a hood so heat can get out

whats the white stuff they use at the LFS and it has squares in it.. is that what ur talking about? and how big does it have to be

yea its that white plastic grid looking stuff. safest to cover the whole tank. I have an open back and I secured some nylon netting accoss the opening to keep my firefish in . I have a piece of glass along the back facedown to keep them from jumping in the overflow (ihave a drilled tank)

Nope, no getting outta my tank
Did do a check before thou, just in case. Anyone else?
