Yellow polyps

I'm not sure if this is true or not...
I've read that phosphate removers will cause them to shrink and eventually die. I think I read that on this board somewhere...

I had this problem once and I am almost positive that the pods are what did away with them. I have asked others about this and had others say the same thing. I can't say for sure but every morning I turned on the lights they were on the polyps and looked to be munching away till the entire colony was devoured. HTH

I think your right. They were directly on the closed polyp.
