Not sure, but IMHO you wont be dissapointed. I got (2nd order) some mushrooms and let me tell ya, after acclimation and a few hours they were 3x's bigger. If you have pep. shrimp--skip the yellow polyps, good chance they will eat them (just mistaken ID). If you do decide to get the polyps--individually feed them. GL, HTH.

I assume you are asking about the size of the rock? the actual polyps don't get much larger than maybe 3/4 inch.

I've heard of pep's eating yellow polyps but have never experienced it. I have had them together in two of my tanks for several years with no problem. I almost wish they would & I wouldn't have to "prune" the polyps so much. I suppose it depends on the individual shrimp.

The polyps themselves don't get very large...but they can multiply and increase in numbers very rapidly! I have them in near plague numbers and they started as a single hitchhiker about 2 years ago. I prune them and do all I can to control the spread of them...but in all honesty I fear they may eventually overrun my system! I've also heard peppermints may munch them but I've never been lucky enough to have my peppermints put a dent in their expansion.
But...in answer to your question I don't know how large the colony from here would be...but most folks have seemed happy with orders from here so I'd assume it would be a decent sized colony.I'd also assume they'd come attached to a decent sized piece of rock...after you get them(if you do) let us know how large it was and if you're happy with them.

I had/have a yellow polyp colony and my peppermints are decimated it. I was hoping it would get established, but they didn't let it. I just there one or two little ones left on the rock that might have a chance, but I have seen this first hand.
