yellow tang problem. please help!

i think my YT has ich. there is what seems to be hundreds of tiny white dots on all of his fin but not his body. He is eating like a pig and swimming normal and not scratching against rocks. what should i do? i already tried catching him to put him in QT tank but i cant. hes really fast. what should i do. i have lots of hemits and snails, 2 true percs, and 1 heni in the tank with him. all have no symptoms. thanks please help

Any fish can be caught with a little effort. Remove some of the rocks and clear an area of the tank. Get a plastic pail or container large enough to hold the tang. Use a net to gently herd the fish into the container and then lift it out and move the fish to the QT. Don't worry about messing your tank up. You'll have to do a bit od rearranging anyway. Any fish in the tank have been exposed and must be treated. Is your QT fully cycled?
