in most of our opinions, yes. i wouldn't advice getting someone a high maintenance fish like that for a gift either.

Good advice.
Have you looked at a Coral Beauty? They are not yellow, but they are really great fish and would do well in your tank I think. Pretty easy to care for IMO.
