Yellow tang turning white

Having big problems with yellow tang
he is turning white and has strange color behind gills
looks kinda transparent.
have no idea what is wrong?
anybody have any ideas

need a little more info how long u had the fish? any new tankmates ? water paremeters, etc

I don't have experience with yellow tangs, but I have heard that when they are unhealthy or stressed, their color will fade. What are the water conditions, tank size, and how many fish are in the tank?
