I have a yellow tang with some rather strange bumps on him, i just got him about 3 days ago...anyways this morning i woke up to notice that he had bumps all over him...they weren't like ich...just bumps...looked kinda like zits before they surface on a human.... i put him in a hospital tank this morning ...all by himself...the tank is running copper...anyways ...the bumps are going away?....is it a parasite and the copper is killing it? ....or are the bumps stress related...i read on another site that it was....but i really just want to make sure...before i put him back in my main tank.
in my main tank im running
55gallon tank
1 eheim bio filter designed for 66gallons 116gph
1 protein skimmer designed for 55 gallon 106 gph
3 water pumps (move water around) total of 600gph
total with pumps im running around 825 gph in my whole tank
i have 60 pounds of live rock (its still in the base stage)
heat is running at 79degrees
levels are all low... nitrite is alittle above perfect
Fish kept
1. Lionfish (5 inchs long)
2. Niger Trigger (3 inchs long)
3. Angel (4 inchs long)
4. small hawk fish for bottom feeding
5. The yellow tang (4 inchs long)
