yellow tang

Hi, I have a yellow tang and it just startted acting funny. It sits behind the rock in a verticle
position. It seems alot less active. It eats but then goes back behind the rock.
Any ideas?

How long have you had it?
How old is your tank?
What are your exact water parameters?

Ive had him about 2 months. My tank is 4months. All levels look good except ammonia was .5. I did a 25% water change last night and my ammonia level is now .2.

You definitely need to get the ammonia level down. That is stressing your fish pretty badly.
