Yellow Tangs agressive fish?????+

Are yellow tangs considered agressive fish?I got my tank up and going about five months ago and the first fish I purchased was a yellow tang I have never thought of these fish as agressive but the more I read it sounds like they can be.Should I be careful when adding other fish down the road with my Yellow Tang????

sometime aggressive to them selfs but no not aggressive fish . but very nice looking fish .

IME, they are aggressive towards same body shape tangs. Oh, they will still stress a new join to the tank out for a while but will not totally harass him. Barry

i got a yellow tang then later a dogface and clown trigger. The trigger is basically ripping its back fin off, but its still living and it otherwise good condition
