Umm...dumb question. Do yellow watchmen gobys change color? I swear mine was totally gray the other night when I turned on the tank lights at like 2am. Nope, I wasn't seeing things either he was gray. I just haven't heard this info before, so like I said it could be a stupid question. It's just driving me nuts. :notsure:

there are fish that change color based on how much light there is, if its day/night etc. I used to have a blue damsel that would be black if he was asleep when I first turned on the light

Its normal, my blue tang is so light blue in the morning when I turn the lights on, but later on when the lights have been on for a while, he is a beautiful blue. OOOh Yeah, my bad, I have a YWG too. Since it has its own cave it is like a yellowish grey color in the morning when I turn the lights on. Totally NORMAL!
