So I ordered some fish and they arrived today...they said the wrasse would "play dead" but how long do they lay there looking dead? I drip acclimated then put the other fish in the QT but I went out for girls night and decided to leave the wrasse in the acclimation container so that the others wouldn't pick on it, but it's still laying there on the bottom hours later

do you see the gills moving? or any signs of life? It is not uncommon for a wrasse to play dead, but not for extended periods.

Looks like he's DOA.
I thought he was dead when he arrived, but since it said not to be fooled by them playing dead I gave him more time to perk up...he never perked

Everyone else seems to be fine though...yeah!
