Biscardi said he wants to make as much money as possible. Some reporters have already reported that they think it's a hoax, but I'm really hoping that they actually do have a body, and that they're smart enough to show it before it gets to be too late.
I was watching the press conference, and it became clear to me very early on that Dyer who found it isn't all that smart. In fact, he was a bit of an idiot. I think we'd be able to see through his lies if they were lies.
Biscardi just pisses me off though. He treats this whole thing more like a circus than a scientific find. A (very small) part of me wishes it was a hoax just so that guy has to eat his hat.

Speaking about the guy who found it not being smart. You got a huge point there. They changed their story atleast 3 times and once on video actually said it was a hoax. Also, the video where he has his brother play a scientist probably wasn't the best idea to establish his credibility.
The guy who is promoting this is also correct saying that he wants to make as much money as he can. He knows is a hoax, just like the last one he promoted but if he drags this out as long as he can he knows he can make a buck or two.
Then of course, there is the fact that their DNA evidence was human DNA and possum DNA.

The "hero" police officer will hate it when someone reads his this part of the story...
On Tuesday, Clayton County Police Chief Jeff Turner said he has not spoken to Whitton but processed paperwork to fire him.
"Once he perpetrated a fraud, that goes into his credibility and integrity," Turner said. "He has violated the duty of a police officer."

Well this promoter guy is 2 for 2 on the hoaxs... You'd think he'd learn from his mistake and wait until he's atleast checked to make sure it isn't a rubber suit before he, 'the real bigfoot hunter', puts his made up title on the line.

I would like to believe there really is some sort of Bigfoot creature out there. It would probably bridge the gap in the whole evolution of man theory.
I'd like to believe there are aliens in UFO's out there. It would broaden our perspective of exactly where we fit in, in this infinite universe where man thinks he is the most intelligent creature.
I'd like to believe that certain things will be revealed about the world around us that we can only speculate about at present.
I'd also like to believe that people have more integrity than to exploit the stupidity and curiosity of others in the name of making a buck.
But... common sense rules over imagination.

Something just doesn't add up about this. I mean besides the finding a bigfoot corpse in Georgia.... In the picture released, you can clearly see the 'body' (otherwise known as a rubber suit). However, in their statement, the guys who purchased the 'evidence', said they had to thaw out the rubber suit from a block of ice.
So, where did the block of ice come from?

The freezer it was sitting in... Remember the freezer pictures...

It's Wednesday and nothing new yet. The news conference was crap, and there hasn't been anything release for independent review. I call hoax.

I know, but that doesn't give you a block of ice that you need to thaw out for days just to figure out its rubber. The way the guy explained it was that it took awhile to thaw out a foot enough to tell its rubber.. I would think you could tell its rubber pretty quickly. I don't know, maybe I'll put a rubber halloween mask in the freezer for a few months and then see how long it takes to thaw out. I'll check back in a few months.

Well, add water to a freezer? I think it adds up, enough. Especially an old freezer that freezes up. Makes more sense then there actually being a bigfoot...

I suppose it could happen.. the old freezer thing, not the bigfoot thing, although even with an old freezer and some water added, I can't see it taking more then a few hours to figure out its a rubber suit.
It seems like the radio host guy is trying to save face by saying it took them that long to thaw out the body. Otherwise they'd look pretty foolish trying to do an autopsy on a rubber suit.

I'm ashamed to say I was actually naive and excited when I saw this on the news.

Let me put it this way, it makes more sense than them finding a whole Bigfoot carcass...
