When you phrase a question that way, you'll always get the answer you want. Someone, somewhere has kept every possible combination of fish with some success. (Short-term, anyhow.) IMO & IME, the chances of an adult female GSM tolerating another clown in your new tank are about the same as the chances of the Lions winning the Superbowl.

truthfully, i have a pair of goldstripes in my tank a 150, i couldnt imagine trying to add another clown to it, she attacks my triggers when they get to close to her 'space' VERY territorial. It could work for a short time if she is not full grown, but eventually i think she would kill the other pair...

Wanna hear a funny story? This is my experience with adding another clownfish. I have a pair of ocellaris clowns that host a carpet anemone in my 200 gallon. I decided I'd try to add another bc I have a BTA that is on the other side of the tank...so I thought that with them being so far away from each other it'd be no big deal and with a big tank my chances were higher. I decided to go with a tomato clown cause I heard those were a lil more aggresive than the clowns I have. I also decided to go with just one cause I didnt want anything to happen to my pair of clownfish. I throw him in there and he goes right over to the clownfish in a very friendly way. He totally was just trying to say hey..can I hang with you guys? Well my clowns weren't down with that...they were all chargin at him n stuff. They're real territorial of their anemone. They charged n he backed up...right into the anemone and gone he was. I grabbed a net real quick and was tryin to dig for the clown finally after about a minute battle with the anemone it let go of the clown. The clown looked like it had been dropped in a chamber of acid. Or it had been badly burned...like it's skin was all white n hanging off of it's body. He just swam up and hung out at the top of the tank for the rest of the night. Needless to say he was a crabs feast by morning. So ya...I'd keep em separate, lol!
