You can reply to a thread by clicking the post reply buttom at bottom of a post instead of starting a new thread to answer .
Temp. should not be lower than say 78 F. Check you haeters and make sure your not bumping them with your hand or something when you work in the tank or wherever they are. after you get temp where you want it, check salinity again.

Ok, thanks for the tip on the reply button.
I will check the temp and the salinity.
Damsel seems to be settling down a bit, but I will still watch him.
All my others nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, etc, are in the safe zone.
The only other thing I have going on, which I don't care for...is I have green and brown algea problems.
Diatoms, most likely, and the hair algea is starting to grow.
What will eat that stuff.
I use RO water, and have never put tap water into my tank.
I try not to over light my tank by keeping it to a limit of 6 hours on time per day. I used to keep the lights on 8 hours then all the algea started to grow...
Suggestions anyone?
It also seems that my turbo snails drop off the rocks and flip over onto their backs... I hate this as they dont seem worth the trouble to keep them.
The crabs are not moving around like they used to do until I feed. I feed about every third day, they they become very active. Should I feed more often.
I use the frozen food for the Damsels, and the introvert for my anomonie when I had one.
I will check the temp and the salinity.

You have it backwards. Temp has an impact on salinity readings.

This is the first time my temp dropped. So I will definately watch it.. it did for no apparent reason unless like you said, I bumped it by mistake.

With a Nano Cube, can another type of filter be used in place of the one that came with the tank. it is a wet dry....
My tank is about 1 year old.
I need new lighting, I think, and I truely believe
my water flow is not sufficient.
I have a 12 gal nano cube... had I known what I know now
I would not have started with anything less than a 55 gal and moved up from there.
I am a firm believer that NO ONE should start with a Nano Cube.
