i have a feather duster, scallop, 1. should or could i spot feed these guys i am using phytofeast right now, but im not sure its getting to them. and every since i started using this stuff my tank has been not really cloudy but not crystal clear like it was either 2. could this be from this stuff? 3. also i have 10 snails in my tank right now and when i looked in there it was like they are all in a mass is this normal? 4. i got some cheato for the pods to reproduce and now there is none in there? should i just order more to add in there to try to reproduce? 5. last thing i had some green hair like algea growing on a lr that i bought from the lfs when i put it in there is was bright green now it is like green and whitish is this normal? 6. what would cause algea to lose its color?
thank you all for ur advise ur wonderful, and full of knowledge like i wish i was about this topic. hope to be someday. :cheer:

I would feed the scallop and feather duster phytoplankton 2-3 times a week. You can use a turkey baster and spot feed so you know that they are getting enough. Is your chaeto in a sump? The pods and chaeto should be in a sump where there is no predators so they can reproduce.

I mix DT's phytoplankton, cyclopeeze and a little tank water together. You can use a medicine dropper or turkey baster depending on how many thing you have to feed and squirt some in the direction of the clam. You can squirt some underneath the feather duster and it will rise up so that you don't have to squirt the guy directly.

I spot feed with a length of old air tubing and a small syringe. It works great. I feed phytofeast too. How often are you feeding them? Are you turning your skimmer or filter off while you feed? I used to do that, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference.
