yet another snowflake eel?????

im picking up a snowflake eel tomorow and i was wondering how big around they get? im building my own rock and need to know what size pipeing he needs as an adult. and has anyone had any problems getting them to eat? this will be my first eel and i dont want to mess up so i want to know everything before hand. this is for my 75gallon aggresive tank. tankmates are a lionfish.

My snowflake eats anything I feed him, and as for the size tubing, mine just weaves in and out of the rock, he never really goes into anything, just through the rock like a maze.

thanks for the reply, at least someone did lol, so the PVC cave would just be a waist of time? i still would like to kmow how big he will get around now hes probbley the size of a quarter. my guess is silver dollar sized

I feed my snowflake a range of food from frozen squid, krill, shrimp, clam and fish. They will mostly likely eat anything you give them. Good luck and keep us posted.

This is a good article about the snowflake. I just ordered one from SWF for my 225 reef tank.
