Yikes...de-armed Cbs

I finally got the cbs out of my 29G...BUT it's arms came off....I know I did not pull them off....do they shed them as a defense mechanism?? (like lizards and their tails)
Will it live???
Now I feel bad

It will regrow them on the next molt. Maybe smaller but they will repair with each new molt.

I hope so...LOL....the thing is it just molted within the last 2 days in the 29G....I hope it stays hidden long enough in the 225G to survive
BUT it had to come out of the 29G

Now I can order some more fish
