All I can say is you won't regret getting it. Its alot to figure out but the Nikons take awesome pics. I've got the 5400 and a few friends of mine have the 5700 and the D100 and I don't think I've seen a bad pic from them.....
....Well I have from myself cause I'm not much of a photographer yet...but I'm getting the hang of it

I've had the problem with that as well....but I think there is a way that you can change it where you can focus on certain objects...just haven't gotten that far in my manual yet.....:notsure:

Just wondering...what mode do you have it in? Do you have it just in the normal mode or did you change it up? That may be your culprit on the blurriness. They have a tendency to want to just focus on one object but if you read your manual on aperture you can change the aperture where more objects in the picture can be focused on. I don't know too much about them but I'm pretty sure thats how it goes.

i wanted to get the underwater housing for when i go scuba diving for it until i saw that it was about 799 :scared: :scared:
