Good enough for my money. lol
YUP!!! Agreed.
For the price, its a really hard deal to beat. IDK if I could ever spend $1200.00 (GHL Mitra's) on a single unit and need three of them over a tank.
Shoot. there was a guy asking about how much it would cost to set up a decent 90g reef tank. Would have been funny to tell him to add an additional $2400.00 in lights. LOL.

LOL! So true... "So, I forgot about the lights... that's going to be an extra $1500 or more." That's why I prefer DIY T5 lights when I don't have any real money to spend.

For myself, I can put a few bucks away here and there and get a name brand fixture for $$$ if need be. But I don't see the need to do that if there is a comparable, more affordable alternative. Like with Odyssea- I got great results with those MH. Were they the best lights: not by a long shot. Could I have gotten better results with another brand: I wouldn't be surprised. But I was happy with the results that I got from them. The true expense of having MH (for me) was not the high electric bill or cost of cooling the house in the summer... in the end it was the price of my tank because the heat got the best of my system. I won't do that again. I won't put a coral in this tank unless I have LED's above it. It will be a few months before I stash enough dough aside to get the fixtures, but it will take that long for my tank to get established again anyways.

Name brand doesn't and hasn't bought anyone success. Even some people that have used "name brand" units have complained at times about have poor success.
