It is my opinion that scenes like this offer different emotional responses as we age. As a teen and even in my early twenties, I would say cool, kill them all, but as a 30 year old man, I just look at it and realize those that died were probably fathers of kids who are innocent of all that brought this scene about, or they might be children of parents who will never get over the fact they outlived their child.......nothing but tears.....heartwrenching pain. Each man that fell there................well, there's no telling how many people were overcome with grief.
Nowadays, I look at war as something that is needed, but I respect the fact that each one of those guys may be a brother to someone who loves them dearly, and I can NOT imagine the pain of my brother dying in war, and his video taped death ending up on a fish site.
It's a war, people die, and I hope those who have to kill know that there was a reason for it. I never fought in a war, and I can only imagine the demons that would haunt a person.....
I was against the war until recently.........when Lybia gave up their weapons of mass destruction, I actually started thinking that maybe this will work. The countries over there have been soooooooooooo messed up for so long, and now Lybia decides to give up it's weapons?
