Just gotta but in here and note that you kids are really lucky, most of us can't even get into work late on days you get the whole day off.

Never forget how easy you have it now next time you're about to complain about something.

I guess my job is pretty good then. When it snows I get the day off.

My advise is go be an engineer. They are hiring them everywhere!
Definitely! Engineers are the new Information Systems/Tech jobs. Regret my math skills not being up to snuff for engineering lol. Business it is....

Guess that's partly my own dumb fault, I bought a cool new Jeep a few weeks ago, so there's no excuse if I don't get in here.

Alix,
You're only 16? You're wise beyond your years (at least SWF wise)

Best of both worlds. I go to school and get paid for it too.
Would 34 be considerd a young person? I think so.

Im 20 and love the thought of educating myself, and love knowing that im bettering myself. But HATE constantly worrying about not losing scholarship money because of bad grades, or how hard the next final is going to be. I would much rather work 40 hrs a week now, but know i would kick myself in 10 yrs. Im 3 yrs from getting my MBA and cpa license! just 6 more semesters and then 6 months of studying for that huge test!

I've worked so many BS jobs that college won't be so bad.
I'm hoping that'll be the case for me. $38,000 for five years (just for a Bach. degree) plus another three for my masters before I could finally start working = major debt.
Got into Kent State and Penn State so far, waiting to hear from Syracuse.

Congratulations: All very good schools.

If the BA/BS only costs you $38,000 you are way ahead of the game!

Thanks.
Probably should have been more clear. Penn is $38,000/year, Syracuse is about $42,000/year. If I could get my B-ARCH in 5 years for $38,000 total I'd be the happiest guy in the world.
