Indeed, I am working as you speak. But I'm working on a film. A big film. You just might see it if you go to the SAIC Film Festival next year.

my buddy ron got a degree in marine biology... got offered a job at the zoo for 8 bucks an hour after 5 or so years of college

Congrats on your schools!!! Maybe you can get some scholarships to help with the cost. That is where the military helped me and it gave me good experience and lots of travel. Dont let the cost of school turn you down though. Trust me it will be worth it even if you have a ton of school debt. Things always work out for good people. Good luck!!
Thanks. I listen to people who gradutated years ago and the difference in tuition is just disgusting. I'm in the process of finding scholarships, and am hoping to get a good one from the AIA (American Institue of Architects).
burch2006: I though about Marine Biology for a while, but there is very little demand for it and as your friend found out, very little money involved. It's something that you just have to love.
