if compatibility and reef safe and tank sizes where not a problem, what would your ultimate stocklist be? around about 10-13 fish or so,
mine would be:
1x emp angel
1x annularis angel
1x queen angel
1x volitans lion
1x clown trigger
1x niger trigger
1x striped dogface
2x maroon clowns
1x sohal tang
1x Jap drag eel
1x rhinopias frondosa
if only it could happen in real life, so what would all your ultimate sotcklists be?

lol,, wouldnt that be wonderful, if i could fit every fish i wanted in any tank i wanted and didnt have to worry about compatibility...
EVERY kind of trigger....
Every kind of large angel,,,,
Every large wrasse,
anglers, scorpionfish, lizardfish, toadfish.....
I am also assuming we have unlimited funds and space....

indeeed lol, it would be nice for everything to just go together, but cant:( lol.
although i would have to disagree with you on the angler fish, if you had loads that would be boring, just look like loads of rock lols.

Every tang out there (and schools of them too!)
Queen Angelfish
Emperor Angelfish
Couple Butterfly fish
Foxface - Magnificent
Harems of every species of Anthias
Every dwarf angelfish I can think of
Every color mandarin
Just about every wrasse I can think of
Volitan Lionfish
Matched pair of sweetlips
Every blenny and goby out there
A mantis shrimp (that doesn't kill everything, hahaha)
but of course, I'd also want it to be a reef, so all these fish should be reef safe (in a perfect world)
...
okay, I just want the Red Sea, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and the Caribbean ... yeah, I'll take all of those...

Call me crazy, I'd have several schools, probably 30 firefish, 20 blue reef chromis, and a school of yellow tangs.

50 blue cardinal fish
22 Lyretail Anthias(all males)
10 moorish idols
10 Hawaiian Black Triggers

1 Octopus
1 Violtin's Lionfish
50 Yellowheaded Jawfish
1 Dragon Moray Eel
Then I dunno.. A few fish to swim around and make it look active since most of those fish aren't very hyper.
