i've always thought about getting a street bike for the longest time but the wife wont let me get one she thinks it's to "dangerous" which is odd cause i get myself in alot more trouble in my fiberglass "coffin" as she calles it. If she knew half the crap i do in that car she would not let me drive it lol. Susie i do like your car i'm a fan of the integra's i will never ever, ever own a Civic i owned a 99 turbo type r with a B18c i turboed at around 292hp that thing cost me over 16 grand to make that hp i think my vette only cost me 11 grand to build and thats including the cost of the car. I have more in it now cause i'm starting to restore it as my wife said she won't drive in it with half an ******** so to speak.

turbo type r's are no good compressions to high. shoulda went with a lsvtec with lower compression i believe the compression on that type r is around 11.5:1. just my 2 cents coulda saved u a few bucks. i've got a friend driving around a 95 civic fully built lsvtec and he's putting close to 550 whp and i know it didn't cost anywhere near 16grand

i had 10:1 compretion ratio domed forged TRW pistons in it, i guess i should have been more specific i at the time didn't quite know what i know now and spent a lot of money on gadgets and stuff like that i think alone i spent 1200 bucks on BOV's cause i couldn't find ones that were loud enough cause i wanted the world to know i had a turbo actually the final demise of the car was i missed a shift into 3rd cause i was being an ass and hit 9200 rpms (no rev limiter) that finnaly was the end of the type R i ended up parting the car out for almost everything i had into it. I mean i spent stupid money on Vtec controllers, ECM's cams i think i still have 2 different sets of cams to the car i was at time when i was making good money and just made some poor finacial desicsions then i bought the vette and now i'm putting serious numbers down while spending a bit less money. i say it was around 292hp was my orginal dyno run but i made a few changes but never dynoed it after that so i'm sure i was putting a little more down but, you will never catch me in a civic no matter how much hp cause there isn't a streatable civic in existance that is even in the same league as my vette. (mind you i said streatable)

That thing looks real nice but i prefer 4 wheels, i've never really liked the "out of the box" fast cars i like making cars fast. But that bike looks real nice. I almost bought a Honda CBR1000RR but the guy was like have you ever owned a bike before i was like no, i mean i have ridden harley, and sport bikes before but never owned one the salesmen was like maybe not the best idea to purchase this bike i mean i had the check in hand and i was pissed cause the guy basically wouldn't sell it to me so i just walked out lol.

Can never go wrong with a Honda I just don't like the front end it. Your cousin will be amazed at the power difference between his 600 and the 1000.
1968OldsMa, its prob a good thing the salesman didn't sell it to you. Nothing against you its just these bikes are so insanely powerfull in the wrong hands they are lethal.

I wish that wasn't true, but unfortunately it is.
I think there should be a totally seperate motorcycle test for sportbike riders.
I've hear a lot of stories, seen a lot of stories unfold, and have made some myself.
Crashing sucks.

Moto, I just installed a pair of slip on Two Brothers Racing exhaust. They sound really sweet. Not running a power commander. Most people agree that you don't really need one until you really open up your exhaust to the point where it runs like crap without one. Examples would be, full exhaust, or in my bikes case, gutting out the cat converter. I also didn't get full exhaust because of price, and I'm never gonna tap into my bikes full potental anyway.
