thanks for all the posts guys. to the first dud,e yeah I know to let nitrites go down too....only thign is, like, the color I'm getting from the drop test doesnt match any color on the little chart lol...so I dunno how high or low it is. I'm HOPING it's in between the first 2 shades and itll go down quite soon once the ammonia drops, but it might be higher and ill have to put off fish till NEXT weekend or something....but anyway
I see a couple peeps saying the blennys. I LOVE blennys too, but the only thign is, I can catch those here for free, so I don't need to buy those. They aren't "lawnmowers" but they look even cooler. The dorsal fin is very tall, like a sailfish almost lol. I think im gonna catch some and QT them for a month or so then add some to my tank later.
as for the other fish...a sixline wrasse DOES look like a good choice. I'll look more into those. Appareantly they stay quite small? And they're pretty colorful too. Thats always good. Other than that, I'm not too sure.....I don't want any clownfish, I already know that much. I want to keep my tank unique. I've literally never seen an aquarium in someones house that DIDNT have a pair of clownfish of some sort. Nothign agaisnt clownfish, its just that theyre cliche.
oh, and I've decided agaisnt chromis from the very start. Not very pretty fish, in my opinion =
what about a dragon wrasse? anyone ever had one of these? my LFS just got 2 of the juviniles in for a reasonable price (25$) and I think one of those would be nice, as long as I dont get any small shrimp. What do yall think?
