yuck $400 electric bill

i run my lights at night so my bill isn't to high..i have 90g with mh and my bill is $140. my mother in law lives with my wife and I so we let her pay for it...

Someone needs to come up with an all-in-one tank that runs off of solar power, wind power and bananna peels.

I would prefer a fecal powered generator with three dogs and umpteen cats I would have plenty of poo to run half the city.

Call your power company and tell them you're running a zoo, maybe you can get your rates reduced.
I thought 2 dogs an umbrella cockatoo and my 75 gallon was alot to take care of. Where do you find the time?

I guess Im in the middle... 2 tanks 150w halide on 1 and 2 24watt flourescents on the other. 5 heaters (water change stations always running) approx 6 power heads.
3 room air conditioners, 220V electric dryer, 1hp above ground pool pump runs 8hrs a day.
my bill last month was $330.00 so far that was the most expensive for the season. It will fall from here on out the cooler weather will help.
