YUMA's

I have a question on YUMA's. If anyone can help please do so and post pictures if you got them.
I have been searching for these beautiful corals and prices are crazy expensive vs. the ricordia. I had one retailer say it was $40 per polyp for yuma's from viet nam
Is he just over charging or are these things really these expensive? To me the only physical difference is that the yuma's are a lot bigger than the ricordia's.
If anyone knows more on these please let me know and any other information you can to justify these prices or just tell me this guy is crazy!

they cost alot over here. Some guy was selling a yuma that wasn't even very bright for $50! My LFS charges $30 for ricordeas... $35-$40 for orange ones. joncat gave me a website that charges a lot less for ricordeas, but I don't think they had yumas. In Florida Shogun bought beautiful purple yummas... I think he paid $70 for like 4 polyps. I guess it just depends on where you live.

Okay now I am feeling a little better. I thought this guy was just trying to get me on the price.
As for ricordias I know average for a nice blue or orange would run about $20 and the greens $10 but $30-40 WOW! I know location plays a big roll and also supply and demand.

seems it all depends on the color. the neon orange ones with neon green undersides run aroun 80-100 bucks most of the time. but the other colors seem alot more reasonable. i can buy rocks full of the pruple and green ones for around 50 bucks. reg ricordia around here run 10 bucks a head for the green/blue and 12-15 for the orange and blue combo ones

I think these are Yumas. If so, then I got about 30 of them on a rock for about $60. Granted, they aren't wild or exotic colors, but I thought they were kinda pretty. I'd like to get some of them off that rock and onto another one just to give them some room to fully expand. If you're interested in a frag trade, let me know!

If you have any bright/unusual colored zoas, I'd be interested in them. I have a Biocube (only holds about 23 gal), and I'm somewhat limited as to how much I can have in there, so I've decided to try to make it as colorful as possible!
I just picked up a two-toned bright green ric with a pink mouth. Thought it was really neat looking, and it's splitting (2 for 1 bonus!
). When it gets done, I'll keep one for display and I'll use the other one for fragging.
