Zebra eel eye turned white?

My 3 ft zebra eel has done well for quite a while now. But today while feeding I noticed that her left eye has become cloudy. She is still eating fine and seems to not be bothered by it, but I assume that she can no longer see out of it. I remember reading about this happening when I was initially researching before buying one, but that was years ago. What is it likely? What should I do? Thanks...

Do small water changes daily using well aged salt water. Feed meaty foods soaked for just a minute in freshly minced garlic juice (not bottled, etc., but fresh minced garlic). Offer the fish this 3 x a day. See the info-post on garlic in the FAQ Topic, at the top of the Disease Forum.
Hopefully, this will do the trick, if not, you're looking at antibiotics, and moving the fish to quarantine.
