zebra eel in a reef tank

Who thinks I would be safe putting a zebra eel in my reef tank? My inverts include shrimp, snails, conchs, sally lightfoots, hermits, stars. Fish include damsels, clown, tangs.

I am no expert on eels but I dont believe they are reef safe. (I could be wrong) I also believe they would find your inverts to be a nice tasty snack. I would do a search and see what comes up.

I gota tell ya this is the one area I will claim to be somewhat of an expert, though the zebra may survive in your reef. They will not thrive, they do not care for the bright lights in a reef. I kept zebras for years and they love a tank with no light at all except the light coming in from the room itself, tons of hiding places where only their head has to show, and lots or fresh prawns lol

I got a zebra eel in my reef tank he doesn't bother anyone. I got shrimp and cucumbers and he doesn't even care they are there.
