Zebra Eel

I am planning on buying a zebra moray eel for my tank. Will he eat my cleaning crew? If so is there a way to avoid this other than not getting the eel?

I have a good size Zebra, highly recommended.
No, he does not touch the cleaning crew(small hermits and snails). He waits for feeding time and then goes wild for what I feed him.
I would also recommend a large hermit crap to clean your sand and a foxface for algae control. They do the job of a hundred little snails.

mine never touched any hermits he would push them out of the way during feeding time to get to the feeder stick but never messes with anything great eel to own

Mine is a pig:)
I feed him until he refuses food.
I do a combination of live fiddler crabs/crawfish once a week, scallops, krill, cocktail shrimp (shell on) on other days.
If you feed your smaller fish mysis shrimp and such and he is hungry, he will come out looking for food.
