they ended up in the mail for 6 days. they are fire and ice zoos, and creamsicle zoos. will they make it? I know 3 day shipping is alright, but 6 days might be too long.

Do you have them now? How do they look? I would float to get temp. same and then add 1/4 cup of tank water every 10-15 min. and then put them in. Dod they or did they smell really bad? If they are in fact ded your inverts will be on them like crazy!

yep, got them yesterday, did the usual acclimation, and added them to the tank. just not sure if they are alive right now.

If they did not smell really bad, then just give them some time and hopefully they will show them selves in a day or two. It might take a week or better to really shine though. Good luck.

Schadiest-
Zoos are HARDY. I got some from the frag swap and when I opened the package the water smelled really bad. I acclimated like described above, and it took a week for them to open up. Everything turned out ok, with the exception of a coupl of polyps.

i can second that. i once was fraging some zoas and forgot some on the counter
OVER NIGHT!! there was a very small amount of water on the plate i was using and i still have them today. there was only enough water to keep the part of the zoo that was touching the plate wet. i thought for sure they would be dead

zoas will just for of disintegrate . but before that they will be over come by algeas many times and shival up to nothing. most zoa deaths are due to fungus infections

OMG, This happened to me too! 2 day priority mail -- took 5 or 6 days!!! got 6 frags, 1 made it, 1 sorta making it and 2 with full polyp, no wrinkles still crossing my fingers. 2 died - shriveled, but not horendous ordor. (they are still sitting in tank in hopes of one day it will perk up.
What helped was moving them up closer to the light. the 1 sorta -- its struggling, but slowly opening.
