i bought 2 zoos yesterday n found them on the sand bed this morning, so i picked them up n just pushed them in the sand, i've read that they need med. light n med. flow , i read somewhere on here how to attach them to rock but can't remember where, there is so much to look through. i think my hermit knocked them over so i'm taking him to the lfs, hate to but they said i can't keep him cause he'll eat my corals n a clam i would like to buy. i did see him on my new zoo this morning but it looks ok so i think i got it in time. so i woule appreciate any help please.

I'm confused about what you are asking.....

I think he's asking about how to glue frags

Just use superglue of any kind. I buy mine from a dollar store, 3 bottles for a $1 can't go wrong with that!
As far as your hermit, I don't think he may eat your zoas or clams, i mean depending on what kind of hermit it may be

Use superglue gel (typically available at home supply stores - I typically pick mine up at the local dollar store). Place a glob of glue on the dry rock (wipe off with towel) which your frag is attached to, then stick it in the tank and hold it in place on the rock you are gluing to for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, give a very slight twist with your hand - this will either lock the frag in place or make it obvious that it is not sticking. If it fails to stick, remove it, put a fresh glob on and repeat - typically it will stick the second time, but sometimes you have to repeat for a third time.
FYI, whoever told you your hermit would eat your zoas is full of BS. My tank is full of hermits and zoas - the hermits crawl on the zoas, picking algae out from between the polyps etc. this will cause the polyps to close, but will not hurt them, nor do hermits eat polyps. They may consume polyps which are already dying, but will not bother healthy polyps. Nor have I ever seen hermits bother a clam - shrimp yes, hermits, no.

hey everybody, thanks for the response, yes i was asking how to glue frags, i read it somewhere but couldn't remember where. i can't believe u can put super glue inthe water n be so worried about other things going in the water, well anyway i pushed them in the sand n they seem okay now. i traded my hermit for 2 blue legged crabs. my hernmit i traded has ate 2 feather dusters in the past, he was little when i got him but grew big like into a 3 inch shell so he had white n gray stripes on his legs, don't know what u would call em. well i plan on getting some other corals but not sure what though.

just be carefull when adding the super glue to the tank so it doesnt float off the rock and the fish eat it. with zoas you can actually take the rock out dry it put glue on it put the polyps on out of the tank and let them sit for the 30 secs out of the tank so the glue sets then add it back into the tank... it wont hurt the zoas to be out of the water for several minutes. so i find it safer and easier to glue the frags on to rocks out of the water. hope this helps ya out
