I have several sps frags, and several colonies of zoanthids.I have read that zoanthids can kill sps corals if they get too close,is that true?If some zoanthids get attached too close for my liking to one of the sps frags(on the same rock),How can I get the zoos of without getting their toxins on anything? If you can, post pictures of fraging zoanthids,I know how I just want to see it done before I do it myself.

Most keep these together without problems. Just keep a check on it and if you see anything out of the ordinary then i would do something...

I also keep zoos with assorted LPS & SPS types...no problems that I'm aware of. I'd be concerned if the zoos over grew other corals...but keeping space between them has prevented that sort of issue so far.

Can I frag some zoo's off of a rock that also has sps corals on it?Will the zoanthids toxin harm the sps corals?

If you are running carbon you should be fine. If you haven't changed your carbon for a while it wouldn't hurt!

If it is easy to get out that is always your best bet. Sometimes you can't get rocks out and fragging in the tank is your only choice.

So to frag zoos,I take a knife and slice the zoanthids frome the rock at the base.Right? Then how do I attach the fragged zoos to a rock?Do I use superglue,a rubberbanded net over the rock and the zoos,or do I just lay them on the rockfor them to attach themselves?
